Background
Founder Ana and her team are very passionate about preserving Malaysian Recipes, a heritage that is rich in diverse multi-cultural background and yet very contrasting. Malaysian food is rich in all different flavours as the people are of Malay, Chinese and Indian descendants.
LaZat Cooking uses home-grown organic herbs & spices, either plucked from our garden or supplied by local farmers to create delicious meals. At LaZat Cooking, our goal is to bring Malaysian cooking to the world by sharing with you our family recipes, which we have savored and perfected over generations. |

Ana AbdullahFounderCooking itself is an art and although we are taught the basics, the rest is our own individual interpretation on it. There are no limits to what we can achieve when we let ourselves be fluid in our knowledge and understanding. Growing up, Ana was different from her siblings and friends. While the others loved eating large portions of food at one go, Ana cultivated the habit of eating smaller portions frequently instead. Later on, this habit paid off as she maintains a healthy and balanced lifestyle and constantly motivates her peers and friends to eat healthy and smaller portions. At LaZat Cooking, Ana educates her guests on the benefits of portion control and how to improvise cooking methods and recipes to make it healthier. Ana’s motto at LaZat is “Look, Laugh and Learn” and she lives up to it by making her classes as fun as possible.
