We’re looking forward to welcoming you to LaZat Cooking School. Please take a moment to read through these notes before you join us, especially the meeting point & arrival time, as these differ between Monday classes & classes held on other days.
01 Admission
Each ticket admits one participant.
Tuesday-Saturday Classes (With Market Tour)
> Where: TTDI Wet Market (at the main entrance by the big staircase facing Jalan Wan Kadir)
> Time: Meet at 8:15AM, tour starts 8:30AM sharp
> Can’t make it? Let us know at +6012-936 3583 (David) and head straight to the school by 9:45 AM.
02 Meeting Point & Time
Monday Classes (No Market Tour)
> Where: LaZat Cooking School
> Time: Arrive by 9:45AM, class starts sharp at 10AM.
Tea and snacks will be served before the class begins.

For classes with a market tour, you will need to make your own way to the market. LaZat will arrange transport from the market to the cooking school after the tour.

Market Tour
Explore the local market and discover the fresh ingredients, herbs and spices used in Malaysian cooking. Enjoy a complimentary roti canai and teh tarik breakfast along the way.
9:30AM – 9:45AM
Transfer to LaZat Cooking School
Transport from the market to the school will be arranged by LaZat.
9:45AM – 1:30PM
Cooking Class
> Kitchen safety introduction
> Introduction to local herbs, spices and ingredients
> Hands-on preparation and cooking of 3 dishes > Sit down and enjoy the meal you’ve prepared
04 Itinerary
Monday
9:45AM – 1:30PM
Arrive at LaZat Cooking School by 9:30AM for tea and snacks before the class begins at 9.45AM.
The Monday programme does not include a market tour.

05 What to Bring
Dietary requirements
Please inform us as early as possible if you have any dietary requirements, food allergies or restrictions, including vegan or gluten-free requirements. This allows our team to make the necessary arrangements where possible.
06 Important Notes
Market Tour
Market tours are included in programmes held Tuesday to Saturday. Monday classes do not include a market tour. Market tours may also be affected on certain public holidays when the market is closed.
Emergencies
If an emergency prevents you from attending your class, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate a rescheduling request, subject to availability. Refunds will be handled according to our cancellation and refund policy.
If you are running late
Please contact us as soon as possible. For market-tour classes, if you miss the market tour, you may be asked to proceed directly to LaZat Cooking School.
